The Heath School is excited to be able to offer a fantastic opportunity for a teacher of drama to join us at our school, that sits in the heart of the community of Runcorn.

We have consistently been the highest performing school in the area, outcomes have been extremely positive and are in line or above the national average and students have moved on to achieve their aspirations. Drama is the backbone of our Performing Arts Team and our extra-curricular programme, which involves not just clubs but annual Christmas and Summer shows and performances. There are no expectations regarding experience and the successful candidate would be a well-organised, vibrant, innovative practitioner who has in-depth curriculum knowledge. You will understand what it takes to improve student outcomes and give the students the learning experience they desire. The Drama Department is a team of two. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of an experienced subject leader but also be part of the wider faculty, which includes music, dance and art & photography, who all work closely together. Our facilities are excellent and our students love to learn. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop personally and further raise standards across the department, and you will be supported every step of the way by the team and the school.
