Production of Macbeth

The Year 9/10 production of Shakespeare’s Macbeth will take place on Wednesday 12th June, 6pm at The Heath School.  Tickets are available from Kate Allerston at the school, £3.50 for adults £2.50 for concessions.

The best thing about being a student at The Heath is that all of the teachers are lovely. I love all of the after school clubs. On a Monday I go to hockey and it’s a good laugh. On Tuesdays I go to girl’s football club and it’s really good and then on a Thursday I go to cheerleading and we go and cheer and represent The Heath at football matches, sports days, open evenings etc. I love being here at The Heath. My best thing about being a proud Heath student is learning. I adore knowledge and achieving high academically. The best thing about being a student at The Heath is the teachers and the other students. The best thing about the teachers is that they never give up on you if you are struggling or anything else and they try to make the lessons enjoyable. I have really loved all the different classes that I have been to because they are all really fun and I enjoy them. Also some of the teachers are really funny and make the lessons very interesting Student 7JLB
The Heath What I have enjoyed so far….  Making new friends, meeting new people, Being in different classes every day, Being in high school away from primary school, Knowing where the classes are in every week, Getting a lot of homework from a lot of teachers, I have enjoyed everything in high school. I know where all my classes are without panicking, I have really enjoyed Mr Stewart in music because you get to listen to music and guess what the song is, I’ve enjoyed meeting Mr Holmes my Form Tutor, I’ve enjoyed the food in the canteen. What I have enjoyed most about coming to The Heath is seeing new teachers and new friends. I was scared at first but then after a few days I got used to the school and just stayed with my friends and new friends. Now I don’t know what all the fuss was about. Student 8GMY
The best thing about being a student at The Heath is how fun the teachers make the lessons. It’s also good because it’s easy to make new mates and there is always someone who will want to be your mate, and groups who will accept you. Student 8EJY
What I have enjoyed most about coming to The Heath is the lessons because they are different to primary school. They encourage me to wake up every morning with a big smile on my face because I am always looking forward to the bright day ahead. I really cannot wait to get started doing experiments in Science and to start drawing and sketching in Art. Most of all I can’t wait to start baking different cakes and treats in Food Tech this year.
