The Heath School are celebrating fantastic GCSE results, with students of all abilities making great progress across a broad range of subjects. The class of 2019 sat reformed qualifications in all of their subjects, and they have risen to the challenge and achieved outstanding results with over 20% of all grades achieved being high grades. Congratulations go to all of the students who achieved grade 9, the new highest grade.
Mrs McNamee, Head of School, paid tribute to the
excellent teaching and learning within the school and said,’ I am absolutely
delighted by the exceptional success of our GCSE students. These fantastic
grades are the result of a huge amount of hard work by students and staff at a
time when courses have undergone significant reforms to include more
challenging content, resulting in more difficult examinations.
Thank you to our wonderful students for remaining positive and aiming high, to parents for their support throughout their child’s time with us, and of course to our fabulous staff who continue to go the extra mile for our students to ensure they achieve their best.’
Good luck to all of our students as they move into the next phase of their education.
